To eat / Comer
Eating is a highly symbolic cultural gesture. All religions have specific rituals when it comes to food and family gatherings are usually centered around feeding each other. In general, an invitation to go to someone’s house is linked to food. Perhaps without food there is no family connection. Cooking and sharing food is a gesture of communicating with the group and with everything that lives beyond reality, including Gods and entities. Comer é um gesto muito simbólico e muito cultural. Todas as religiões têm prática sobre a comida, todos os encontros familiares são ao redor de comida. Em geral um convite para ir a casa de alguém, está ligado a comida. Sem comida, talvez não exista unidade familiar. Fazer a comida e servi-la em conjunto, é um gesto de comunicação com o grupo e com o além, deuses e entidades… enfim… Cozinhar é um ato muito serio travestido de trivial (Leandro Karnal em uma entrevista para a Rita Lobo no YouTube).
